Esterer + Ellmauthaler Visual Identity

Design a visual identity, including a logo, for Esterer + Ellmauthaler Rechtsanwältinnen that communicates both a forward-thinking approach with digital workflows and reduced paper use (sustainability), as well as the distinctly female character of the firm. The result needed to feel fresh and contemporary while maintaining the seriousness and trustworthiness essential to a law practice.

A minimalist design language was developed, built around a flexible color world featuring interchangeable background hues. This dynamic yet refined palette conveys freshness without compromising professionalism. The logo combines the initials of Esterer and Ellmauthaler, connected by a custom-designed symbol—a unique fusion of the “§” sign and an ampersand—that reflects both legal expertise and partnership. The result is a brand identity that feels modern, sustainable, and confidently feminine.
